Complaints Policy – Revalidation Ready

1. Purpose

Revalidation Ready is committed to providing a professional, supportive, and high-quality service. This policy outlines how concerns or complaints can be raised and how they will be managed fairly, transparently, and in line with professional standards.

2. Scope

This policy applies to all services provided by Revalidation Ready, including:

  • 1:1 support sessions
  • Reflective discussions
  • Confirmation/sign-off services
  • Membership services
  • Written or digital support

3. Raising a Concern

Clients are encouraged to raise concerns informally in the first instance where possible.

Formal complaints must be submitted:

  • In writing (email or contact form)
  • Within 14 days of the issue occurring (where possible)

Complaints should include:

  • Name
  • Description of the concern
  • Relevant dates
  • Desired outcome

4. Response Timeframes

  • Acknowledgement within 3 working days
  • Full response within 7 working days

If more time is needed, this will be communicated clearly.

5. Investigation Process

All complaints will be:

  • Taken seriously and handled professionally
  • Reviewed against service records and communications
  • Assessed in line with:
  • NMC Code
  • Business policies
  • Professional standards

6. Outcomes

Possible outcomes include:

  • Clarification or explanation
  • Apology where appropriate
  • Service improvement
  • Partial refund (only where justified)

7. Professional Boundaries

Revalidation Ready reserves the right to:

  • Decline unreasonable complaints
  • End services where behaviour becomes abusive or inappropriate

8. External Escalation

As Revalidation Ready provides independent professional support, complaints are managed internally.

However, registrants remain accountable to:

  • The Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC)
